Who We Are

Selectamark Security Systems plc is a family-owned, award winning security company, based in Locksbottom, Kent.

Founded in 1985, we are at the forefront of asset and offender marking technology worldwide, offering a wide range of theft deterrents for businesses, homeowners, educational establishments, retail outlets, hospitals and sporting enthusiasts.

Our business has grown over the years because we pride ourselves on top quality products, the best customer service and exceptional value. In fact, repeat business is growing as more and more satisfied customers return to us year after year.

Our History

The Chelsea Clip was invented in 1991 and is the original handbag clip. It has a proven track record of preventing opportunist bag theft from public places.

The Chelsea Clip is produced and marketed by Selectamark Security Systems plc.

Selectamark was formed over 25 years ago in the UK with the launch of our original permanent marking system, which is still popular today (http://www.selectamark.co.uk). The system is often used in conjunction with Selectamark’s tamper proof labels (http://www.selectalabel.com).

In 2004, we launched a range of forensic marking DNA products known as SelectaDNA (http://www.selectadna.co.uk), which are used by all UK Police forces to link criminals to crime scenes and to secure arrests and convictions.
